To do this, we take our risk management a step further. In our opportunities and risk analysis, we identify those issues that require reviewing. These includes matters such as budgetary constraints, procurement and long lead time items, life cycles, design methodology, technological impacts and issues involved in efficient construction.
The review becomes a dedicated process of value management. It enables us to assist the client and the design consultants to achieve the most cost–effective and practical design solutions. It also enables us to identify inefficiencies or omissions that otherwise would not have been apparent until works on site began.
To provide the maximum value for money, we carry out the value management reviews during or immediately after the preliminary planning stages of the design.
